A Youth Reflexology treatment is designed for children, teenagers and young adults, up to the age of 16, and supports the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of adolescents who may have high levels of anxiety, stress and difficulty coping with everyday challenges. The focus of this consultation is entirely to reduce stress and anxiety. Attention is given to calm the heart, lungs, brain and muscles, whilst uplifting the digestive, endocrine, immune and reproductive systems, however, the Therapist works holistically on all systems to aid the patient in feeling calmer, more confident, in control and balanced. The Therapist will always let the patient understand that it is their time and that they are in a safe and un-judgemental environment, accepted, listened to and valued as our next generational leaders. Following an Initial Reflexology visit, a Youth Reflexology consultation involves between 30 to 45 minutes of undivided attention that they know is all about their wellbeing so they can completely switch off or offload any worries they have, all within a perspective, reliable, respectful and encouraging atmosphere. Regular treatments are encouraged to ensure relaxation of the sympathetic nervous system and motivation of the parasympathetic nervous system.
