Adacel is a Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. Administered in pregnancy between 26 -36 weeks. We receive government stock of this vaccine for pregnant women only (only admin fee charged). Partners, Grandparents and other caregivers can book for the private Adacel Quadra.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the cost, stock is not kept at the clinic. We will need to order it in for you, so please allow at least a 3 day lead time for bookings. Please message us when you book so we can see if we can get stock. The RSV vaccine (Abrysvo) is indicated for pregnant woman between 28 and 36 week gestation. Although it can be given with the Whooping cough vaccine, it is recommended that it is given at least 2 weeks apart for better efficacy.

Discovery clients are able to get up to 3 subsidized postnatal visits/consults in the first 6 weeks after baby is born, subject to availability. The first visit is always at home with a surcharge of R300 and subsequent follow ups will be at the clinic for free. To book a Home visit, please contact the clinic directly. The first visit is 1hr30- 2hrs and follow ups are 1hr. Sr Brigitte Williams is a Registered Nurse & Midwife, and a SACLC (South African Certified Lactation Consultant). Brigitte will assess and assist any moms who are experiencing challenging breastfeeding journeys. She offers this service as a Home visit or clinic visit

Sr Megan Benn is a Registered Nurse & Midwife and Breastfeeding counsellor with many years experience assisting breastfeeding moms and babies. A Breastfeeding Consultation is offered to any clients experiencing any challenges with breastfeeding, or who just want to check that all is going well with their breastfeeding journey. All Discovery clients get a FREE breastfeeding consultation within the first 6 weeks - we will ask you to please pay upfront but a detailed invoice will be provided to submit to Discovery.

Follow-up and general consultations: weekly weigh ins, advice on feeding, fussy babies, sleep, routine, emotional support, starting solids, any other advice required

Bexsero is a new to South Africa (has been offered in the UK and parts of Europe for many years). Protects against Meningococcal meningitis vaccine Serotype B. Available from 8 weeks but preferred age 4.5mths + Babies under the age of 2 need 3 doses. The first and second dose at least 2 months apart, with a booster thereafter. Toddlers or children over the age of 2, need 2 doses, 1-2 month apart. If you are bringing more than one child, you can make just 1 appointment.
