I am an accredited Registered Counsellor with the Health Professionals Counsel of South Africa (HPCSA). I am a mental health professional trained to provide psychological support, prevention and short-term intervention services to individuals, couples, families and communities. My primary role is to provide a safe place for participants and to find unique solutions to enhance their psychological wellbeing, promote resilience, and assist in managing life's challenges within a supportive and ethical framework. I specifically provide psychological assessments to identify emotional, behavioural and social challenges as well as personal and interpersonal issues. Facilitate psychoeducation on a variety of topics, deliver preventative and developmental interventions is schools, workplaces and communities. Also qualified as a Lifestyle Oncology coach, which entails providing emotional support and adjustment counselling, anxiety and depression management, family and caregiver support, facilitating resilience and hope as well as end of life bereavement support, through empathetic listening, evidence-based techniques and a strong ethical foundation. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for people to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies that promote holistic wellbeing.
